Successful heritage & conservation approval
Very happy to report PRP have obtained a successful heritage and conservation approval to a historic building in a Norfolk village. This is to provide a sunroom, glazed link, and remodeled porch mostly in a contemporary style. This approach is welcomed by SPAB and historic England as opposed to replication and pastiche. The building is intrinsic to the village timeline, being the ancient Manor. It has been adapted a number of times through the years especially during the 18th century however the main fabric appears to date back much earlier and could have formed an original hall house with its timber frame structure. The site is clearly ancient within the village setting.
