Project Description

Co-op Convenience Store & Housing Development

Located in the village of Stanton, Suffolk, this site was previously home to the Tripp Batt & Co. Ltd garden machinery manufacturing facility. It has now been transformed into a carefully planned mixed-use development that integrates retail and residential spaces.

The first phase of the project involved the construction of an energy-efficient Coop store. This modern retail facility incorporates sustainable features such as eco-friendly refrigerators, LED lighting, and electric car charging points, reflecting a strong commitment to environmental responsibility.

The project also introduced significant improvements to the site’s accessibility, enhancing connectivity for residents of Foundry House and fostering a stronger sense of community integration. The design prioritises functionality and inclusivity, making the development a valuable addition to the local area.

The second phase of the development focuses on six detached, high-quality residential properties. These homes, offering a mix of three- and four-bedroom layouts, have been designed with spacious open-plan living areas, ample family storage, and generously proportioned bedrooms. Each property includes either a private garage or a shared carport, balancing practicality with a refined aesthetic.

This project exemplifies our ability to revitalise underutilised sites and deliver thoughtfully designed mixed-use developments that contribute to the vitality of the local community.
