We are delighted to have recently achieved Planning permission for two very different projects, although both equally integral for the expansion of local businesses:
The first being the exciting proposals to redevelop Western Farm to provide a bespoke poultry haulage depot in Tibenham, Norfolk, on behalf of our Client, CM Agriculture, approved by South Norfolk District Council. This will allow the business to provide much-improved haulage, off-site vaccination, and quarantine services – essential to the poultry farming community; including many independent farms as well as well-known brands such as Bernard Matthews and Banham Poultry.
The second, equally exciting, is the new scheme approved by Norwich City Council for a first floor extension and internal alterations at the Trowel and Hammer Inn, Norwich. The proposals will provide a further seven bedrooms to the thriving business to meet continued demand for quality accommodation within the City. The application site lies within a Conservation Area and a Heritage Statement was submitted alongside the application to assess the proposal, demonstrating that it does not impact on the quality and significance of the historic built environment.
This project optimised our Heritage Consultancy service, were we can provide Heritage Statements to support applications within Conservation Areas or those involving listed buildings, which can be offered as a standalone service or as part of a wider consultancy.
