Educational Community Aspirations Centre

A feasibility scheme prepared on behalf of Flegg High School for the design of an envisaged ‘Community Aspirations Centre’ located within the grounds of the school in Martham, Norfolk. It is hoped the facility will benefit both students and the wider community, supporting young adults into work and offering training workshops and providing a centre for exhibitions and presentations.The design was carefully considered and largely influenced by the unique site, with its panoramic rural views and historical link to agriculture. The form of the building echoes a traditional timber agricultural barn which is sympathetic to the wider landscape and context, whilst maintaining a strong sense of place.
